Farmboys Smokin BBQ was established in 2012. It actually started many years prior, when pitmaster Matt Lombardo started traveling the country and experiencing the love of smoked meats. Soon after getting his first smoker, he constantly cooked for friends and family events. In 2012, he launched his new catering business with a BBQ Event at Michaels II Cafe (located at 30 South St....who know he would end up owning a restaurant 10 years later in the exact location! ) His catering business boomed all over Fairfield County. Then when 30 South Street became available, he and his wife Stacey knew it was meant to be! In October 2021, they officially had the keys and by April 2022, after months of renovation into a rustic decor, they opened the doors to friends and family and by May 2022 they were fully up and running!
